I did not "opt in" to ID Notify and they also started sending me emails
which seems to imply that they have my confidential information in their
files. This is really unacceptable the way this was "bundled" into my
purchase of Tax software in this manner. I can only imagine that ID
Notify is staffed by a staggering number of complete strangers who live
outside of the United States. These "security" monitoring "features"
open up more risks than any benefits that they are supposed to provide.
It is a serious blunder on the part of TurboTax to have allowed their
users to be exposed to this security risk. It was clearly done to
bolster ID Notify and not a "feature" added to help TurboTax customers.

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
