My wife renewed her MN driver's license today (3/2/2018) - it had expired 12/25/2017. Turbotax won't accept 03/2018 as issue date (says it's future)

I'm entering DL numbers to file. My wife's DL expired 12/25/2017. She renewed today, so issue date is 03/2018. I guess expiration (in MN 4 years) will be 12/25/2021. Turbotax won't accept issue date 03.2018 saying "Check the issue date. It is in the future". I put in my DL information. should I leave my wife's info blank? How much will that slow down processing of my return?

I would just delete it.  Both Minnesota and Federal do not currently use Driver's License information for e-filing your tax returns, so it shouldn't slow anything down.

Otherwise, you could probably wait a week or two and TurboTax will likely be updated for that.

Thanks. For another reason I decided to deleter her DL number. If it is still in application, I didn't want anyone searching to get any reason to think I had entered incorrect data, so I thought best to delete it.
