Please clarify your situation.
TurboTax has no way of knowing whether you paid your tax. The payment does not go through TurboTax, so it can never tell you if you paid. TurboTax always shows the amount that you owed when you filed your tax return. It doesn't know if you paid it.
You either owe tax or you get a refund, not both. If you owed tax, there is no refund, so there is no refund information to show.
Are you talking about federal or state. They are separate.
Or do you mean paid the Turbo Tax fees? You might be in the wrong account.
Or how and when did you pay a tax due? Did you pay with an extension to file or make estimated payments? You might need to enter those. But for a tax due on your return Turbo Tax will always say the final tax due. Turbo Tax is not updated when you pay the tax or get the refund. The IRS and state do not tell them when they get your payment. Once Turbo Tax efiled your return they are done with their part.
How did you pay it? Your only proof of payment is your bank or credit card statement showing it coming out. Turbo Tax does not pay it. They only send your bank info to the IRS or state for them to pull it out of your account.
While doing this years taxes. Pops up saying I owe 7800. It's exactly the snow imported from 2022. Will not let me past it until I put in when we will pay? It is all included in my 2022 papers??
We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?
What do you mean by "snow"? Where are you being asked about paying your 2022 taxes?
Why does it keep telling me i have to use my credit card when i've already used my checking account? It also is telling me that I haven't filed my return and won't let me get passed the credit card info. I filled out the checking info for payment and turbotax keeps telling me i have to use a credit card. It won't let me get past that point.
So how do I get past the credit card payment screen when I've already submitted my checking account payment info? I've got the print out showing I've filed and paid, but it keeps telling me I haven't done either.

@tsgarrard It's probably asking for your credit card to pay the Turbo Tax fees. Your checking account was just to pay the Tax Due.
