I started two returns by mistake. How can I merge them into just one? I don't want to re-enter all the data from one to the other!

Sorry there is no way.  Not in the Online versions and not in  the Desktop programs.

Two files cannot be merged.  Choose the one with the most information and add the other to it by re entering the date for the other.
