Good. I tried to post exactly what you did but the forum crashed my post! Glad you did it yourself.
there is no street address. How do you get around that in Turbo Tax when entering this form?
Delete that 1099 and manually enter one with just the name IRS and put the interest amount in box 1. You don't need to enter all that info on the form.
Turbotax is giving me the following error when I enter 1099-INT from the IRS:
Schedule B -- Form 1099-INT (Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service): Payer Street Address must be entered.
However, no street address is present on the 1099-INT I received. It just has:
Department of the Treasury
Internal Revenue Service
ANDOVER, MA 05501
Turbotax is saying I cannot e-file without a street address. What should I do?
No. When entering your 1099-INT, please choose the option to type it in yourself. You will not need to input an address.
Please follow the instructions below:
I have attached a screenshot below for additional guidance.
If we received our Form 1099-INT from the IRS, should we enter "Internal Revenue Service" in the "received from" box?
Yes. You would type Internal Revenue Service in the received from box.
