I paid for babysitters while looking for jobs, where do I add that expense?

You can not claim the day care credit unless you actually started working. You will have to provide the baby sitter's name and address and make more effort to get the SS#.  TT will guide you.

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:

Federal Taxes Tab

Deductions & Credits

-Scroll down to:

-You and your family

    --Child and dependent care
