So what is your question?  It does not matter the length of time you worked in 2023 you need to report all income received in 2023 on a 2023 tax return.

That you worked only eight months is not relevant.   You can file a tax return if you had taxable income and had any tax withheld from that income, or if you had even $400 of self - employment income---you are required to file.

Do you have a W-2?   Or a 1099NEC?
