No, you cannot file it under Free Edition, unfortunately. You might be able to prepare it in Deluxe as long as you prepare the Schedule C without any expenses. But Deluxe is 39.99 for Federal and 36.99 for State.
You have another option to get free Federal and State returns, however, if you meet ONE of the qualifications listed lower down. TurboTax has another free product called FREEDOM Edition (not the same as the Free Edition you are using.)
The Freedom Edition has free Federal preparation and free State preparation.
There is no efiling fee. No upgrades, etc. It does require a new account at another website.
