I need to file NYC-4S and it is not included in the 2016 business software. Why?

I got my NYC4S done by hand filling. I did download the updated titled "NYC s-corp patch" last night, no NYC4S form. Please let us know you can get any of those form NYC3L, NYC4S, NYC4SEZ and NYC-ATT-SCORP, those are for s-corp or General Corporate. NYC2 is for C-corp. I talked to TurboTax support and specifically asked for those forms last week.

A user on this thread indicated it's working today and it did work for me, a quick call to customer service for the confirmation code to override the purchase worked for me. Recommend not letting them upload the file to your account (it's probably already there) but use the override code within the desktop software.

Just installed NYC S-Corp. Was going to post procedure but I see that sgonz1006 just posted an excellent step by step solution. Nice job. Thank you to all who have helped me navigate this mini nightmare, Good luck to all !!

The NYC S Corp package includes:

3L, NYC-200-V and ATT-S-Corp ONLY.

 STILL NO NYC-4S as of Wed March 8!

I THINK I FOUND IT..(on the S Corp Desktop Software)
YOU HAVE TO TURN THE FORM ON!!!!

Install the New York City S Corporation Package.
CLICK on FORMS in the top screen upper part of the S Corp Software.
Scroll to bottom of "forms list" on left.
Find the New York City S Corporation Forms
CLICK on the "Information Wks"
Now..look on the form PART II
CLICK BOX - "Check box to prepare short-form return (NYC-4S) because they will not ask you this through the STEP BY STEP process.

Your 4S will magically appear on left.

Its included in the State..however TurboTax is having problems with those forms. They are mislabeled and the buttons in the S-Corp software won't recognize the form 4S. So when you click START it starts you through the processing of downloading it...only to download the wrong form and taking you back to START. I've spent DAYS with them on the phone. They did an updated on March 6 which changed the name of the title under the REQUIRED FORMS but is not the form.

Hey guys - I did the update last night and it DOES WORK. The forms are included. Hey, this is the first year I am showing income on here (from the federal return) - is there a way to LOWER the NYC-4S tax due ?? Its like double taxation !!!

I downloaded the NYS S-Corporation package in TurboTax, and it includes NYC-4S. However, it does not let me electronically file this! 

Anyone else forced to mail in NYC-4S?

Hi All, Happy Holidays!

I called in last year after purchasing tt business 2019, NYS & NYC downloads to inquire how to efile NYC Scorp return, form 4S, (as I did not see anywhere that the program does not support efile for NYC) & the gentlemen I spoke to advised I should have reviewed what forms were supported & available for efile with the program before I purchased, (State Forms Availability for TurboTax Business, 1st link below). In addition, he said he did not know why it was not yet supported & anticipated by 2020 it would be as other programs available support NYS & NYC efile.

Does anyone know if tt business 2020 supports efile for NYC Corp tax or where I can find a list of supported forms for NYC? I looked on the New York S-Corporations & Corporations Form Availability lists, (2nd & 3rd links below), but do not even see form NYC-4S listed. I searched for a list of available forms for NYC but only found a post listing states not available in tt business, (4th link below). This list shows NYC as unavailable for Fiduciary only, (last link below). I called support a few times in the last few weeks, each rep said they could not find anything that states it is not supported or that it is supported for 2020. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
