I need specific information, not another link to generic IRS stuff.

I am running Turbotax Deluxe 2023 on Windows, not the online site or an older version of the app. The step by step instructions in the FAQ/forum do not match the screens in the app version. All I get is the "Taxable Attorney's Fees" box. There is NO provision for the question mentioned in the step-by-step. As I posted earlier, the IRS taxes (per IRS and other generic docs) what is excess to the original purchase price, i.e. a "profit"?. I did not get a penalty settlement, just the $15K which was a bit less than the Kelly tradein value.

What I want is simple (or should be). I have entered the 1099-MISC exactly as sent to me by the firm which, btw, is how the IRS docs say they should. Simply, where/how do I enter the extra data?
