I need a State eFile Confirmation Number

Same here. Paid. Charged my credit card with 24.99 and page still takes me back to payment. On call for more than an hour and no response.

Same here...what the heck...I got charged but theres no proof my state taxes were ever filed....How do you find out if Turbo Tax ripped me off or not or if I'm going to be in jeopardy with the state.   Get it together Turbo Tax!!

I got the same issue, went thru the whole ting to file, made payment, right back to screen looking for payment. On hold so far 25 mins.

This is BS, have account, get case#, with a different number and still getting put on hold, How about TurboTaz get more staff to answer the phones and help customers.  Pretty crappy way of doing business

I can't get the system to complete the purchase of the fee for state efile!!! On hold for hours and then the rep hung on me...calling again and on hold again for hours

I apologize for your frustration.  The call volumes are high so there are delays. 

In the meantime, you can try to use the following links to help you check the status of your return.   Be aware, sometimes it does take 24-48 hours for the filing process to complete.

I paid for the E-file for Fed and State, but it's asking for a confirmation number to file the state. When I originally ordered I got a license number and I got an order number, but no state conf#.  Seems like this should be easier and now I can't  continue.... I won't pay for it ahead of time again, because this is so frustrating.  Now I have to wait to talk to someone????

@DZ_CO   Is your question about paying a state efile fee?

 Are you using the Online web version or the Desktop CD/Download program?  In the Desktop program you get one free state PROGRAM download to prepare unlimited state returns.  But then each state is 24.99 to efile or you can print and mail state for free.

I ordered the on-line deluxe with state efile last week.  Just finished up my taxes and it says I need a confirmation number for the State efile. It wants me to pay again or input this confirmation number which I never got.  It must be some state code or something.  So frustrating.

This process is used to pay for the $24.99 state e-file fee when using the TurboTax CD/Download editions.

When you sign onto your TurboTax account you will be asked to verify your billing address and the payment method for the $24.99 state e-file fee.

You can avoid this charge by printing and mailing the state income tax return.
