Please call product support and give them your serial number and then they can give you the confirmation number you need. Here's the number to call: (800) 446-8848.

To find your serial number, go into the program to the payment section, select pay by credit card--then you should see a screen pop up (an example is attached). Look on that screen for the serial number, and then call us. Thank you!

I bought TurboTax Deluxe at Costco. It included one state return. I tried unsuccessfully to eFile the State Return. TurboTax voice recognition system sent me a link to, "Purchase by Phone," that has an option to pay $24.99 by credit card, or enter "State eFile Confirmation Number." How do I get the confirmation number for State software that I paid for at Costco?

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

This method of having to call Turbo Tax to get a state confirmation number so you don't pay the $24.95 charged for filing a state return, is cumbersome and ridiculous. I paid $110 for TurboTax Home and Business including state filing and now I have to wait to get the number because the phone lines are so busy.

Not happy at all.

Did you get a reject code?

Were you able to file a Federal return?

Did you have to do a Kentucky "Confirmation quiz"? If yes, did they give you any code when you did that?
