I moved from California to Tennessee last March and my employer never changed over my state tax information. Can I get back taxes for that since Tennessee is a less expensive state to live in. If not, do I have to pay the fee for Turbo Tax filing my Ten

It depends, but you likely have several beneficial situations on your tax return, though it may take a little time to get all of the information you need.

First, speak to your employer about providing you a corrected W-2 showing how much income that you earned after moving to Tennessee.  The amount of tax that was taken out to California does not change.  What should happen is that you would file a part-year return for California, which would allow you to get a larger refund for the taxes that continued to be taken out to California when you no longer lived or worked there.

Second, you do not need to file a Tennessee return, because Tennessee does not have a state income tax.

Third, you may qualify to deduct moving expenses to take up the job in Tennessee if you were not reimbursed for the expenses.  See this FAQ for more information:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302201
