If you have already e-filed your tax return *AND* it has been accepted by the IRS, then you're fine. Otherwise, if it's rejected then you can just change it.
Now I don't know about the first name, but I do know that the IRS Computers only look at the first four letters of the last name to confirm it's the right name for the SSN entered for that taxpayer or dependent on the tax return.
