I may be signed up for turbo tax advantage twice

I've had a recurring subscription for a number of years.  Just now, though, it said I was not an Advantage member so I followed directions thinking it would eventually sort itself out.  However, I think it just signed me up again.

You might have two different accounts.  Start by using this link to see if you have more than one account. 

 https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/

If you do find that you have more than one account and more than one advantage subscription, here is how to cancel.

If you need a person to help you sort it out, Customer support can be reached via Twitter, Facebook or telephone. https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax.  

For telephone and other support options, see the instructions below.

Also, your user information indicates you are asking the question from a Mac with OS 10.9.

Turbotax for the Mac will require OS 10.11 or higher (El Capitan, Sierra, or High Sierra).  If you can't upgrade your Mac or buy a new one, and if you can't use Turbotax on a PC, you may need to cancel all your Advantage subscriptions and use Turbotax Online.

(Turbotax online is an inferior experience if you are used to and like the desktop installed program.  But if you can't upgrade your Mac to at least El Capitan, you will have limited options.)

  • Please ck and see if I filed twice this year. You prompted me too finish acct and i paid again. Did i pay twice on same account.
