An e-filed return can be rejected. The IRS does not reject mailed returns. Did you try to e-file and was the e-file rejected? After the rejection did you mail it instead? TurboTax will never know if you put the return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox. TT will only show the results of your attempt to e-file. If you mailed the returns then allow about three or four weeks for the IRS to receive it and put the return into the system then you can track it on the IRS refund site.
TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you did not e-file your tax returns, but printed, signed, dated and mailed them to the IRS and to your State, TurboTax has no way to know when or even if you actually mailed the tax returns.
If you received an email from TurboTax, just ignore the message.
