I'm getting a message the zip code in my schedule b--form 1099-div is invalid--it's not. Tried using the long format, but still no luck. How I skip it/efile?

Usually you can delete the form 1099-Div and re-enter all the data manually to eliminate this error.

You can delete the form in the interview section or by using "Delete a Form".  In desktop version you would switch to "Forms View" to delete the form.

In online versions,

  1. Click "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
  2. Click "Tools"
  3. Click "Delete a Form"
  4. Find the 1099-Div
  5. "Delete"
  6. "Confirm Deletion"
