If you are not listed on the account then it cannot be used for receiving any tax refund or to pay any taxes owed.

Do not try to send your refund to your GF's account.    If you do not have an account of your own, then choose to have them mail you a paper check.    Or go someplace and buy one of those re-loadable debit cards with a routing and account number to use.
