I'm at the Final Numbers section of the process and I don't see a Refund. Why is that?

I see my Due in Federal and State (Which combined are high to me), but no Refund. I was expecting to get something, especially after entering Deductions I'm suppose to get from my work as a Lyft driver

When you have an amount due you don't have a refund. It's one or the other.  Keep in mind, your refund or payment due doesn't have anything to do with how much money you made.

Instead, it's based on the difference between 'Total Tax' (calculated now) and 'Total Withholding' (paid as an estimate throughout the year).  When you're self-employed you don't have an employer withholding your estimated taxes from your paychecks throughout the year. Instead you make quarterly estimated tax payments, but if you didn't make these and had no other withholding (from another job or spouse's job), then you should definitely expect to have a tax payment due at tax time.

i Combined my 2018 and 2019 tax return together when I filled it gave me a final number but under it says last year I had $548 due so is that final number a reflection of them already taking the amount due or will they take it from the final number they showed me

What do you mean you combined 2018 & 2019?  You have to file each year separately.

I had put in all the info last year but never submitted them and I would have had $548 due so this year when I logged in I used the turbo tax deluxe and added 2019 w-2 forms and it charged me $120 to file them both

No.  You have to print and mail prior year returns.  The $120 is just to file 2019.  If you owe for 2018 that is not figured into your current2019 return.  You still owe that separately.

Deluxe is currently $40 (price usually goes up on March 1)

State is also a separate 40 in all versions above the Free Edition

If you select to have the fees deducted from your refund there is an EXTRA 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge (44.99 for California).

Thank u for helping me I’m still a little confused . Will they take the money I owe from my return before actually sending it to my bank

I'm at the Final Numbers section of the process and I don't see a Refund. Why is that?

The money you owe for what?  Your 2018 return or the Turbo Tax fees?  The IRS will take anything you owe from a refund.  But if you didn't file 2018 yet they don't know you owe it.  So they should send the whole 2019 refund.

If you are having the fees deducted from your refund then Turbo Tax will take the fees out first then send you the rest.
