I logged on Fidelity, clicked a link to a turbotax ad that said I could get Premier and free fed, state returns. On the TT site, It was not free. Is this a TT ripoff?

You need to contact Fidelity. The program may be free to some clients but only discounted to others.

I have the same problem. Followed advice on deleting cookies, made no difference. Tried repeatedly no luck. Tried the phone number but would never allow me to speak to a live person....

I am having the same issue.  I cleared cache, history, cookies - nothing worked.   I even tried to use a different browser and Turbotax is still not applying the discount.

I think Fidelity changed the link, because all of a sudden it now works to get TT free

I tried it 2/1 23 and it still didn't work.  Fidelity said to submit the receipt to them for reimbursement.  What a pain

I have done this twice and it still does not work.

Fidelity told me to just pay for TT and they would reimburse. I chose the $5 option for download, and IT WORKED. Won't bother for reimbursement, but also found the download version somewhat better than online, esp. since it allows you to easily check progress on actual tax forms

I did get my money back for both state and local from Fidelity.  They put it into my brokerage account which I then transferred to my checking account.  I would think two companies like Turbotax and Fidelity could figure out the problem with their link !!!
