I work for Dutch Shell Oil company as an online dispatcher. I print out paychecks, and mail them out at my post office.
Im guessing that I fill out a regular W-2 but I wanted to make sure.
You have to ask them if they will give you a W2 or 1099Misc. Will this be foreign income? Is this a legit job? Be careful, it sounds a little different.
Okay! It’s not foreign and it is a legit job as far as I’m aware of.
@amnaranjo95 This job sounds similar to the scam described in the article at the link below. I suggest that you check out this employer more carefully. Make sure you know who you're really dealing with - or just get out while you can. And "Dutch Shell Oil" doesn't sound like a real company. It sounds like they're trying to make you think that it's Royal Dutch Shell. But Royal Dutch Shell is a big international company. They don't hire people to work at home sending out payroll checks.
I checked it out, and there are remote/online part time jobs for shell. I checked with my boss and he said that it was shell oil company. I'm going to be getting in contact with the shell company to confirm everything as well though.
Thank you!
