I have a savings account but was not issued a 1099. How do I report this interest on my tax return?

You enter it as though you had received a Form 1099-INT. In the Wages and Income section, find Interest and Dividends, then choose Interest on Form 1099-INT. Enter the income in box 1 of the Form 1099-INT entry screen:
