I have a EIN now, that the IRS encouraged me to use for all tax related purposes. There is no field for EIN, should I use it in the same SSN field?

Generally, an Employer Identification Number EIN is used for tax purposes related to business returns and forms, and your SSN is used for personal tax issues, Some forms use the wording TIN for EIN. You should not substitute your SSN for the EIN.
