I have a 1099 G for a grant I got from my state for putting in a woodstove. how do I put in into turbo tax?

There are 3 possible places to enter the 1099-G in TurboTax, because there are multiple reasons you can receive that form. So make sure you report it in the right place.

Under the Personal Income tab scroll down to the Other Common Income heading. Under that heading elect to start/update "Other 1099-G Income" and go from there.
