On MacBook Air, the PLACE ORDER SCREEN won't fit on my screen (the option of PLACE ORDER is BELOW my screen, so I cannot choose it.) Help?

Argh...can't resize or get to "Icon only" on my MacBook Air either to "Place Order" either.   Anyone else still having problems?  Tried all options others suggested and still can't get to it.

UPDATE:  Finally worked after 30min!  Oddly, by pressing the keyboard's "right side" OPTION+SHIFT buttons while hovering the curser (with left hand) on the top edge of the gray bar somehow enabled the "Icon Only" dropdown menu to appear.  Then the tiny sliver of the blue "Place Order" button appeared so I could click it.  Sheesh...hope Intuit fixes this next year!

kal6300, thank you!!! After over an hour on the phone with 3 customer support people from Turbotax, and trying everything on this thread, your tip (pressing the keyboard's "right side" OPTION+SHIFT buttons while hovering the curser) was the only thing that finally worked! So frustrating! Thanks for posting this!

lara_dunn, I'm so glad that goofy trick worked for you too!!

On MacBook Air, the PLACE ORDER SCREEN won't fit on my screen (the option of PLACE ORDER is BELOW my screen, so I cannot choose it.) Help?

I had the same problem. This is a HUGE problem and Turbotax should FIX it. It took me four hours to figure out how to fix this when I finally found this thread. Whoever said to go to View >hide toolbar saved me. The problem is that Turbotax opens the screens to purchase and pay for state (and other things) modally - meaning that you can't get out of that screen and that you can't interact with the Turbotax application either. Basically you can't go forward and you can't go back.  SO STUPID!!

I had to ForceQuite Turbotax, then reopen the application, then go to View>HideToolbar (which got rid of the little pictures in the toolbar and moved the screen up...and then when I went to pay, the Place Order button was showing because the whole screen moved up that 1/4 inch.

TURBOTAX NEEDS TO FIX THIS. I EVEN SPENT AN HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH THEM AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE HOW TO GUIDE ME ON IT.

Tried all above. Only thing that worked was Force Quit. Then restart TurboTax. Right click on gray part of window,(for me that means pressing with 2 fingers), select icon only, then refile. Just a little of piece of Place Order button is visible but it was enough and worked. Good luck!

On MacBook Air, the PLACE ORDER SCREEN won't fit on my screen (the option of PLACE ORDER is BELOW my screen, so I cannot choose it.) Help?

I was able to make the ribbon of icons at the bottom of my screen appear smaller by click, hold & drag. This allowed me to access the button needed to proceed.

@jkstewart - You can also use System Preferences -> Dock and click on left or right side of screen rather then bottom.

Another option is to temporarily switch the display resolution to smaller than you’d typically use, since that resizes onscreen windows to fit the new screen resolution. This is possible from the ? Apple menu > System Preferences > Display section of settings.

To scroll on a MAcbook with the idiotic "simplified/userfriendly" mouse, put two fingers on the mouse to scroll!
