I got a new employer with a higher wage around the middle of the year in 2017 than my previous one. Would i choose the option that says i got a raise ?

Not sure where it is asking that. Is it some questions before you even begin entering data in to your tax return? When you enter your income on your tax return you just enter it as it appears on your W-2's. if you have more than one W-2 because you had several employers. then after the first one click Add W-2.

There is also an option that says you changed jobs, that would be the better choice than you got a raise.
