Are you running Win 10 or 11 in S mode? You need to switch out of S mode.

You can also check in Settings (Win+I) and go to Apps > Advanced app settings and make sure "Choose where to get apps" and see if it is set to "The Microsoft Store only (Recommended)" option. If so, change it and it should let you install the app.
