I don't want to use my capital loss carryover this year, how do I do this?

Do I have I use the allowable 3000 capital loss carryover for 2024?  Everything in the TT language says "can use" not "must use" so there has to be a way to un-apply it??

I don't need to use it because the standard deduction offsets all of my income and would rather carry it over to next year since it would not be advantageous for me to use it this year.

If I don't have to use it, how do I remove it from my TT?

The capital loss carryover is to be used each tax year until the carryover has been completely used up.  You cannot pick and choose which tax year to use the carryover.
