If you are not the owner of any type of business then you would not need or have an EIN (Employer Identification Number).

Are you looking for your own EIN (if you are an employer), your employer's EIN, or some other EIN?

If you are an employee, your employer's EIN is on your W-2. You cannot file your tax return without your W-2. You have to get the W-2 from the employer.
