I cannot find my financial institution in order to enter my 1098 information. when I enter their name in the search bar, it says that my information cannot be found

i have used them for the last 5 years and they were listed each time. but, this time they won't pull up

It is possible that the financial institution did not part with TurboTax this year. However, you can still enter the Form 1098-Manually. On the page titled "Let's import your tax info", where you see all the financial institutions, at the bottom right, there will be an option for "Change how I enter my form". Click on that. Then on the next screen, click on "Type it in myself" and enter the name of the lender and answer the questions accordingly.
