I am trying to import tax statements for my PNC investment account. I follow the instructions and keep getting the follwoing error:The value you entered is incorrect

I follow the instructions to a T and keep getting the following error: The value you entered is incorrect. To obtain your Import Id log into PNC Online Banking Total Insight and click the Quicken button on the transaction menu.

I try the national financial work around without any success..

You are probably trying to import too soon.  Usually financial institutions have the information online for you to view or print earlier than they have it ready for importing into the tax software.  It is often about mid-February before you can import 1099R's, 1099B's , etc.

Same issue here with the desktop software version. Read that sometimes there is delay in availability of import even after PNC issues PDF's to clients. Contacted my banker- will followup if I hear anything.

Instead of identifying PNC as your institution, try using National Financial.  National Financial is "processing" PNC's accounts.  This worked for other users.
