Yes. You can pay your son's state tax bill if you wish. I suggest using either direct debit or making a payment directly on your state's tax website to avoid mailing a check.

TurboTax will allow you to schedule the day when you want the money taken out. Don't schedule the last day. A bank delay or processing problems could result in a late payment.
