How are you entering it? You should be able to enter the interest from the 1099-INT and not upgrade.

Thanks for responding. The first time I did it, I used the drag and drop feature to import the info. It was seeing it as a foreign bank that way. I deleted the document and re-added by manually typing the info in. It isn't showing it as a foreign bank now but it is still trying to make me upgrade.
It may still be "thinking" you have a foreign bank. You can try deleting the 1099-INT form altogether and then go back and re-enter.
Depending on how far you got, if this doesn't work, you may want to use Clear and Start Over to get rid of all memory of the form. When you do this, be sure to manually enter the 1099-INT
Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.
