Hello. I am starting my 2019 taxes and have a question. One of the employers I worked for in 2019 has a long name, and as a result the employer name in Box-C gets cut off in the middle of a word. Am I supposed to input the employer name exactly as it's shown in Box-C, or am I supposed to put the full employer name?
Thank you.
Edit: I didn't do a good job writing this out. My question is in regards to the employer name being cut off in Box-C on the W-2 form. I am just trying to determine if I should enter it exactly as it appears on the W-2 form in box-C (with the name cut off), or if I should input the entire employer name.

It is up to you.
As long as your Employer Identification number, State Employer number, and your Social Security number are entered correctly, you should be fine entering the name as it was shown on your W-2 Form, even if the end of it is cut off.
You can enter as much as will fit in the TurboTax box - it doesn't have to be an exact match.
Thanks for the reply. I didn't do a good job of explaining this in my initial post, but my concern is that the employer name gets cut off in Box-C on the W-2 form. Should I input the employer name exactly as it appears in Box-C on the W-2, or should I put the full employer name?
Thanks.
