How to efile 2021 California state return

Using Turbo Tax, but it won’t let me efile 2021 CA state return.   I can do that with Tax Slayer Pro.  Why is that?   


Turbo tax says past year returns only paper file.

E-filing is permanently closed for 2021 returns. Your 2021 return can be filed by mail.  Print it, sign and date it in ink and mail it in.

Or if you are happier using a different software program--go ahead and do that instead.
