But what if you have also move out so you can't receive your paper check, + your bank account has been closed... ? Is it possible to ask again the refund on another account ?

@QuentinFr  Unfortunately, once the return has been filed, there is no way to change or add another account to receive your refund on. If the account information is incorrect or the account is closed, the bank will reject and send it back to the IRS. The IRS will then prepare a paper check and send it to the address listed on your tax return. If you have moved, it is a good idea to set up a forwarding address with USPS, so that your mail is rerouted to your new address.

Note: 

You will need to follow the prompts in order to speak to an IRS agent. There is a high call volume this time of year.

When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.   

Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.   

Then Press 1    

Then Press 3   

Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.

If you have not filed your return yet, go back through the "Filing" interview and update the information. 

If you have already filed and your return has been accepted there is no way to change. 

If you have recently filed and you return is rejected for some reason, then you will have an opportunity to change the information.  

Assuming the account has been closed the direct deposit will be rejected and the IRS will print and mail your refund check.

For any stimulus payments here is a page to monitor for updates.  The IRS is working on a portal solution for stimulus payments to update banking information.  More to follow on this initiative.

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?

The IRS is working on creating a portal for you to enter your deposit information.  No word on how long before it is available.

I went to the link provided above and it did not allow me to update my Direct Deposit information since I do not have a refund this year. Is there anyway to just update my information for the stimulus check if you are not receiving money and do not owe money this year?

Well, this is one less client you have because of this situation and forcing one to pay extra when there is no extra filing to do.
