How does one align TurboTax input requirements for medical costs with billing data?

The billing information does not correspond to  TurboTax inputs.  The amounts billed are not broken down in a manner that matches what TurboTax asks for.  Not even close.

The TT Medical categories are just FYI, since only the total ends on your tax return. So you can just put everything into one category.

But you can only claim what you actually paid yourself in 2017, not what was billed, nor what insurance covered.
