how do i show my dependent as a full time student

my child is under 24 and a full time student - why does he not qualify for earned income tax credit

    Did you say in MY INFO that your dependent was a student in 2024?   If you missed doing that, click his name in MY INFO and go through the screens again.

    I went to edit dependents info but it doesn't ask about student,  only of income less than $5k. They are both full time college students ages 21 and 23.

    @lmonty01 When entering the dependent for the first time you will land on a screen Less common situations

    On that screen you needed to check Was a full-time student in 2024

    Delete the dependent and re-enter -
