hi my returmn numbers are incorrect and i cant amend correctly now
I need Turbotax Software support. I purchased 2020 Premier. Turbotax is not calculating the correct negative amount of Unemployment compensation. The unemployment received was $11,012 and Turbotax is showing the entire amount as a deduction. The deduction SHOULD BE limited $10,200. I need help!

W-2 box 12 reporting errors. See subject line.
There are lots of posts in this thread. What is wrong with your W2 box 12? One you got from your employer or are you trying to prepare a W2 for your employee?
If you think your W2 is wrong check with the employer.
No, I had not worked last year, only UE and social security, so I did not have to pay federal tax, I know I got a state refund, but I don't think I'm eligible for any federal unemployment refunds, correct?
@SADIELOVE You might qualify for a refund. You can exclude up to 10,200 of unemployment. Did you file before the 10,200 unemployment exemption? The IRS will recalculate your return for the new unemployment exemption if you already filed.
Your unemployment compensation will be on Schedule 1 line 7. The exclusion will be on Schedule 1 Line 8 as a negative number. The result flows to Form 1040 Line 8.

Are you working on an original return or an amended return?
If you're working on an original return and having a problem with a 1099-INT, delete it and re-enter it from scratch. If you're using Online TurboTax, in the left menu column click on the Federal tab. At the "Income and Expenses" screen find topic "Interest on 1099-INT" and click Review. The next screen should be titled "Review Your 1099-INT" and should show all your 1099-INTs you entered. Find the correct one to edit and click Review. If you still end up in a loop, then click the trashcan icon for the relevant 1099-INT to delete it. Then re-enter it using the "Add another 1099-INT" button.
If you can't delete it that way, we can tell you another way to delete it.
GO TO DATA SUMMARY AND SCROLL DOWN TO WAGES AND DELETE THE AMOUNT OF WAGES SHOWN IN THE BOX.
My address on state 511 is misspelled. I need to change Tula to Tulsa.
Must this be amended?
If the zip code is right it should be ok. You can't amend for that.

I assume that's an Oklahoma return. Oklahoma Tax Commission likely has a way to correct it in their records. They might even correct a simple misspelling like that for you over the phone if they can identify you. They are probably used to folks misspelling part of their address with a simple typo. Check with them to see what their protocol is.
I imputed the payments which matched what the irs had on their records. Today I received a notice from the IRS that I, well Turbo Tax, added up the payments incorrectly, simple math error. I went back to my return, filed electronically thru Turbo Tax and discovered that Turbo tax made a math error adding up my 4 estimated tax payments. Per the guarantee I would like to be reimbursed and also have my electronic filing fee refunded. I have been using TT for over 20 years. I have a LLM in tax and this floors me as to how you can get simple math wrong, now I am concerned about the complex calculations involving multiple forms?
