If your auto debit was setup correctly, no additional actions are needed and sending a check will result in paying twice.
If you set-up a payment for your income tax payment using TurboTax and you did not specify a payment date for the withdrawal, TurboTax's default payment date will be used (the last day of tax season = April 18th this year).
If your payment date has passed, but your tax payment has not been withdrawn yet, payment will not usually be not initiated until the return has been processed. Most states don't begin processing state returns until after the federal return has completed processing (your payment is still considered timely, as long as submitted before April 18).
You can also call IRS e-file Payment Services anytime at 1-888-353-4537 to verify your payment.

this did not work for me. the options listed are not present and all I want to do is see if I setup a payment to the state of ohio. I spent close to an hour on hold yesterday and I have to say I am not exactly thrilled with this product and esp not with the support.
@vettegirl71 You're welcome.
@wdcebula You can make a payment through your state. Contact your state Department of Revenue: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302452
It doesn't give the me the options listed in this message. There is no "My Tax Timeline" and when I did find a download forms it did not help me see if my debit was setup.
You are commenting on an older thread that most likely contains outdated information. You can find your direct debit information on your TurboTax Electronic Filing Instructions page, Federal Information Worksheet Part V, and the State Information Worksheet, Part VII.
Please follow the below steps to view/print your tax return:

We can't make a payment through the state if we may have already paid through TurboTax. We will have then paid twice potentially. We just need to be able to see if we set up payment through TurboTax. Once we file, we can't go back and review any of the payment information for Federal or State. There is absolutely no confirmation of our payment setup anywhere on the site. This is a major fail.
If you have not filed the 2022 tax return using the TurboTax online editions, how you selected to pay taxes owed will be in the File section of the program in Step 2.
