How do I import my prior year turbo tax data

You have to sign onto the 2023 TurboTax online account with the exact same User ID you used for the 2022 TurboTax online tax return so the 2022 tax data can transfer to the 2023 tax return - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Assumption - you are running Windows 10 or 11 ...

If you are on the same computer where you filed your taxes with TurboTax the prior year, TurboTax control searches your hard drive for files ending with the proper (normal) file suffix characters for the year for which you are interested. These are not the PDF files you may have created in prior years.  EXAMPLE 'filename.tax2022'

TurboTax saves all tax data files (and saved PDFs, by default,) in the TurboTax folder within the Document directory. In Windows, the default location is the My DocumentsTurboTax folder. However, the user can change the location of the files. To find the location of a specific tax file, select the > symbol next to the file in the search results, then select Open file location in the right pane.
