Somehow I have lost the 2020 Turbo Tax that I was previously working on.
I purchased a new laptop computer and transferred the 2020 TurboTax software,
which had purchased. I am at a loss.

You have to copy the 2020 tax data file from the old computer to the new computer. The tax data file will have a file extension of .tax2020 and is located by default in the Documents directory and in the TurboTax folder.
Once the tax data is copied to the new computer, with the 2020 TurboTax program started, click on the File menu at the upper left of the desktop program screen. Click on Open Tax Return. Browse to the location where you copied the tax data file.
