It sound like you filed, and haven’t received the IRS communication (through the Intuit system) about it being accepted or rejected. If that’s the case, and your birth date was entered incorrectly, you’ll be getting the rejection e-mail.
Here’s a TurboTax Help article about fixing rejections. In this case, you won’t be directly accessing an electronic filing form — you’ll just be returning to the “Personal Info” section of the program and changing the date exactly where you first entered it. (See this also.) Then you’ll also see the new date on the page where you sign your return, when you go back to the “File” section to re-submit it.
