How do I cancel tax expert? Signed up by mistake.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2020 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

I am in the same situation. The tax expert said they cant do my taxes because i have to file FBAR (every year i do it myself on turbotax). But now they have stopped responding and i am stuck with that screen with nowhere to go. This is just ridiculous. :(

We don't know what product you are using.   Are you in a regular Live product, such as Live Deluxe, Live Premier, etc., where tax experts assist on demand and review the return that you prepare?

 Or are you  in the Full Service product, such as Live Full Service Deluxe, Live Full Service Premier, etc.?   In the Full Service products, a tax expert prepares the entire return with your info, so I suspect that is what you are referring to.
