Did you access the SE program correctly so the account is linked to the QB account ?
I'm not sure what SE means, but it looks like my QuickBooks information has been sent to TurboTax. When I try to start my return with TurboTax, a screen comes up offering me ways to purchase TurboTax, but I have a QuickBooks Tax Bundle subscription, so I shouldn't have to pay for TurboTax again.
SE = Self Employed
To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
Submit your question/problem during business hours and then use the option for Call (a phone number will be provided for Call) to speak directly with a TurboTax agent –
Thanks for the tip. I've already spoken with TurboTax help. They passed me off to QuickBooks help, saying it wasn't their issue. QB help isn't available on the weekend.
Will this help?
There is only one way to get data from QuickBooks Self-Employed (not the same as QuickBooks Online) into TurboTax Self Employed version at this time -- sign in to QBSE and look for a TurboTax access point from the Annual Taxes page (there will be others, but this is the easiest to explain). You can export data from QBSE -- there is not a way to start from TurboTax and pull in QBSE data yet.
How to export your QuickBooks SE info to Turbo Tax
Seth, Please let me know if you find a solution. They did the same thing to me last year, and now this year I made sure to import it correctly, link the accounts with the same ID and password, and file state taxes... it STILL DOESN"T WORK. They are literally just taking our money. I reached out for help with this last year and they denied me a refund. I will be cancelling for sure after this.
