How do file for 2018 with Turbotax?

Prior year TurboTax support is limited to tax years, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

You are too late to use TurboTax for a 2018 return.   The software is no longer available; even if you find it on eBay, etc. it is not supported and you cannot get updates.  And even if the tax form shows a refund, it has been forfeited.   If you owe tax due for 2018, the IRS still wants to be paid, though.   

You can get local paid tax help, or you can use the forms to prepare by hand to mail in.

TurboTax does not support tax year 2018.

If you are filing a 2018 tax return for a tax refund it will not be paid since it is after 3 years from the due date of the 2018 tax return.

If taxes are owed then you need to file as soon as possible since penalties and interest will continue to accrue until the taxes are paid.

You will need to seek out a local tax professional in your area to assist in completing the 2018 tax return.

@Kosmo2 - in most cases, the specific deadline for a 2018 tax return was April 15, 2022 to be eligible for any refund
