I opted for live full service assistance and during a screenshare I accidentally opted out of the full service option and was taken back to "do my own taxes" so although I still had the rep on the call my turbotax session was dis-associated to. My situation is complex and I had already established a confident relationship with the rep.
Now upon trying to get back to her I'm being told that the only way would be to request full service again and then ask the rep to message her. But when I do that, the rep I speak with wants to take over the call.
Really disappointed with how this Turbo Tax platform is setup in this regard and I'll probably not ever use it again. So many convoluted steps just to regain the person you're working with and if I'm paying for it; I reserve the right to speak with whomever I feel comfortable with. Not just thrown around randomly in queues. ;-(
Is there any other way to re-establish the connection or not? If not, maybe I need to try H&R Block next time.
