I have this saved from last year...not sure if the prompts have changed or not, but you get the general idea of how to work the telephone tree.
Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 weekdays from 7am to 7pm local time.
At the first prompt press 1 for English.
At the next menu press 2 for questions about your personal income taxes.
At the next menu press 1 for questions about a form you have already submitted, your tax history, or payment.
At the next menu press 4 for all other questions about your tax history or payment.
At the next menu press 2 for all other questions about your tax history or payment.
There will be a brief pause. When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything. After it asks twice, you will get another menu. Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
It will then put you in the queue for a live agent, and tell you the estimated wait time.

After following your instructions, I was told they are very busy and to try again at another time. Then they hung up ! Maybe the IRS should be privatize. Wayne K.
There is an error on the Qualified Dividend Form for 2020. when line 3 do not use Schedule D is X, an amount is still entered anyway which makes line 4 doubled and does not match 1040SR line 7. Where will I find the answer posted.
Several forms and worksheets have not yet been finalized.
However, when I entered Qualified Dividends, with no Schedule D, TurboTax did not put a figure on line 3, so perhaps the issue has been resolved.
If you are using the desktop version of TurboTax, make sure your program is up-to-date. To do this, click Online > Check for Updates. If you're using TurboTax Online, the updates are applied automatically.

To get to a live agent, please see the instructions below:

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don’t enter anything.

Did you complete and file a 2020 federal tax return and indicate on the tax return that you did not receive the 2nd stimulus payment?
