The what-if worksheet is not necessary. It is there in case you want to try different scenarios and help you determine if you need to change forms at work or pay estimated taxes. You can just delete the form. If you need to try out ideas after filing, check out Tax calculators & tools.
To delete:
Are you using the Online version? Online doesn't have the What-If worksheet. It's only in the Desktop CD/Download program. And it should not prevent you from Efiling.
