Has anyone had their state rejected but federal still pending and were able to correct and re-file your state? Even thou you didn’t correct anything, it was software

I tried to re-file but it says I have to file along with federal. I contacted turbo and they say it’s because my federal is still pending. Idk

Now that your State is rejected, you will need to wait until your Federal has been accepted, in order for the TurboTax Software to allow the State to be e-filed again. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information, How do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal?

@NashayLO  Lol funny that you figured they would accept my federal. I got the rejection email today finally. You know what that means don’t you? That means my federal has been rejected since the state but TT software issues weren’t sending the emails. Now I go to correct it and try to follow the steps but the steps they tell me to take just are not options lol. I was going to give TT a chance to fix their mistake but I feel like TT has wasted enough of my time. I should have my refund by now but nope thanks to TT

This is not accurate.  My federal was accepted and state rejected.  When I tried to e-file my state return again, it says I cannot because I must file a federal return as well, even though the previous screen already says my federal return was ACCEPTED.  There does not appear to be a way to work around this
